About the provider

Benchmark’s award-winning platform (Fusion Wealth) was launched in 2010 as one of the first integrated platform and back-office systems in the UK.

A technology-driven investment platform with its own discretionary permissions, capable of delivering firms’ Centralised Investment Propositions all in one place. Sophisticated business processing, trading and tax management are all integrated with our wider proprietary solutions including back-office, compliance services, client portal and investment solutions. The platform is flexible, and cloud based for scalability.

Innovation is in our DNA. This year we’ve introduced digital client on-boarding, client face scanning ID, suitability writer, digital annual review process, two-way cash flow integration, and secure messaging. All streamline the planning process and enhance adviser productivity.

Benchmark provide market-leading wealth management and digital solutions for wealth managers, financial planners, networks and directly authorised firms through proprietary technology that supports the full advice process, eliminating the licensing and integrating of multiple technologies.

NextWealth analysis

The Benchmark platform (Fusion Wealth) forms part of Benchmark Capital and owned by Schroders. Advisers get access to Fusion as part of the network of over 150 advisers or Benchmark’s own financial planning business or any of the directly authorised businesses. It is out of the box and fully integrated to the Enable back office/practice management systems. In our adviser reviews Benchmark are criticised for poor third party integration but that is not where the benefits sit. If you are looking for an uncomplicated, off the shelf, fully integrated platform this is great. Frustration occurs when advisers are looking for external tools to sit alongside the embedded advice process and are looking at Benchmark to make those integrations.
